    T1R Voltage Stabilizer

I'm wondering what parts are beneficial to ground? I've got my TB grounded through a 10guage wire...made a little difference in throttle response, but what else could really use better electrical characteristics?

New engine (shortblock) under warranty :-)

I'm truly not here to bash, but when I read your thread, the first thing that came into my mind was "Two rod bearings....this guy must be pushing the car pretty hard, pretty often, or under not so hot conditions." As far as something more serious happening, you're kinda lucky nothing did...

Motor mount ripped hole in tranny

The play in the mount can cause a huge impact when the motor shift, so it puts even more force on the mount than the torque of the motor. Just think about swinging a bat at a tree with a 2 foot long swing and trying to swing with the bat already against the tree...you could put the same amount...

I am not a democrat or a republican, but...

Wow! It pains me to know that there are such ignorant uninformed people out there voting for how the country will be run for the next 4 years...Let me just put in my 2 quick cents that relate on a simple level. Both candidates suck, but if Kerry is elected, all of the folllowing positively...

New engine (shortblock) under warranty :-)

Well...sounds to me like you drive like an ass...that's the only way to explain throwing two rod bearings and breaking a brand new CV joint. Probably running your protege up above 5k consitantly even when cold and the oil hasn't really filled all the grooves yet. Also, when you get your new...

    HydrolocK engine's

Alright, so here's the long and the short of it. The only way to hydrolock your engine is to actually suck up an unburnable amount of water through the intake. Small amounts from splashes and stuff will evaporate due to the heat from the engine. Anyway, think of it like a straw with holes...

What cars can a stock P5 beat?

I'm running a CAI and an MP3 ECU and I can run all over my buddies 98 EX Civic 5spd. I've also given a good race to some heavily modded Civics of all varieties. I may have gotten lucky, but I was putting down 108whp stock. haven't run it again yet since I got the mods. Probably will once I...

    Ignition/Valve tap and MPG issue

Not tooo crazy Thanks for the info. Guess being from Canada, you'd have a lot better idea about cold starts than I would. I'm currently at Cornell University in upstate New York, and it's been a cold year. I was just worried that it was possibly an injector problem or something of sorts...

    Ignition/Valve tap and MPG issue

I am driving a 2002 PR5 with 8k on it. Love the car, but I have a few things goin on that I wanted to see if were normal. First of all, I haven't been able to reach the EPA mileage markers, even on long highway trips. The most I've ever seen in 29mpg. Additionall, on cold days, when I start...
