    A/C Problem + Shuttering

Alright, thanks everybody. That's makes sense and you probably saved me a couple of bucks by taking it in again.

    A/C Problem + Shuttering

So I went to the dealership to have my freeon recharged, and I came back with more problems than I dropped it off with. Whenever I turn the A/C on, the car starts shaking pretty badly at idle, but if I give it a little gas the shake goes away. Also, I normally run at around 22 psi Vac at idle...

What have you done to your MSP today?

That sucks man. I got some new yellow silicone hosing to replace the old ones--figured I'd dress up the engine bay a little

    Tuning

Hey guys, I'm in the process of moving from New York to Alabama, but I'll be in Savannah for the next 2 months. I'm getting Turbolife's FMIC and I'm ordering a Vibrant exhaust. Since I'm new to the areas, can anybody point me in the direction of a decent shop that tunes? Thanks

    Spicy Orange in Florida, NY

So I was driving a friend of mine out to look at a car to buy, and I saw a Spicy Orange parked in Florida. Anybody know who it is?

    Gas Mileage with BOV

Hey guys, this may be a stupid question, but I've heard that putting a BOV on a car reduces the gas mileage it gets, and I'm wondering if people here are having that problem...?

What have you done to your MSP today?

Yeah I've got vibration at idle, but it's cool because now I have a massaging chair (shady)

What have you done to your MSP today?

So I finally got a new motor put in after throwing a rod in the old one. Installed motor mounts since I had the engine out anyways and it drives sooo much smoother now

Look good, I've been trying to find some similar wheels for myself, but the price is wrong right now...

    Sad Day

They couldn't drain the oil because it all drained out when the engine blew :( Think I'm just going to get one of the used engines off of protege garage and get it installed. I'm on vacation for a week, so I'll be able to get back to it once I get back home

Yeah dealer mechanic. Sounded pretty ridiculous when he said it, but I wasn't going to put up a fight in his garage. Just had them take it off the lift and *roll* it into a parking spot. How long do you guys think it would take a shop to install the new engine? Trying to get a feel for how...

    Sad Day

Just got back from the shop. The mechanic thinks something (like my earlier guess of a rock) flew up and hit the engine, which knocked a rod loose that then shot through. This sounds extremely unlikely to me, but the bottom line is that there's a nice round hole in the engine block. The...

I'm the second owner of the car, so I can't vouch for what happened to it before I owned it. Like I said earlier, max boost was set at 7psi and there's no reason to think the boost gauge reads wrong and I was going through second gear when it happened.

I'm heading out to the dealership where the car currently is to get their story, so hopefully I'll be able to better answer that come tonight

Yeah, I've just got to get access to a garage. I live in the barracks and don't really have a place to work other than the parking lot. No clue how it blew at 7psi, that's why I'm so surprised. What's an FCD? If that stands for fuel control device, then no

Still not sure of the cause. I was running 7psi and going through second gear when it blew.
