Yeah I read the instructions, I ended up figuring it out by searching the net. The instruction book that came with the cap was pretty crappy. Now I just have to wait for the rest of my stereo stuff to get in and i'll be set.

Yeah I fixed the latch problem, I just may get some black paint for the underside to hid the holes a little better but other then those 2 problems the hood looks great.

I must say I was excited when I recieved my XC CF hood today. That is until I opened the box. The carbon fiber had holes you could see threw in it and in some spaces was stretched . that didn't bother me soo much but when I got the hood on the car the damn striker latch was 1/4 of an inch too...

2003.5 MSP . I was lookin to go forged in the next few months and wanted to llok around and see what shops in the MA/CT area do that kind of modification.

Any of you CT mazda owners know of any reputable tuner shops that do forged pistons and rods. I plan on getting it done in the next few months and the only person I know in MA that will do it is slow as hell. Took him almost 2 months to paint my truck when I had it.

Well just got my windows tinted and ordered a R/C carbon fiber hood from XC, it should be shipped by the end of the week.

For some reason my car isn't getting any heat. With the heat turned up all the way and the air blowing full blast it comes out luke warm at best. The air is coming out just fine its just cold. My engine temp is fine I just don't get any heat and its getting cold where I am at lol.

Will do . Aside from it being a pain in the ass to screw it in it looks pretty easy to change out.

well I checked the WGA by blowing into the tube connected to it and it was like blowing air threw a straw so I just ordered one to replace it. hope that will get rid of the stalling and what not.

well , not sure if this is it but I found I had a leak in my new exhaust right before the cat that I will go get fixed tommorowm not sure if that would cause my car to almost stall or not.

Well I put on the new hot side pipe but I am still getting 10 PSI . I don't know where I am getting the PSI boost from. I am going to go today and get a boost regulator so maybe I can limit my boost that way and maybe pick up a cold pipe and install my forge BoV. also my care damn near stalls...
