    Aftermarket Head Unit questions

so the screen still lights up, the outside temp works... the deck's hooked up... did you cut the housing to fit the new double-din setup or did you get an adapter kit? and what kit do you need to keep the steering wheel controls working?

    Tire PSI

Not that I don't think the tire pressure could be up'd by a point or two, but I'm going to agree with Brian_MP5T, not just because it makes sense, not just because manufactures stand to gain nothing if our tires just wear constantly since they aren't making money they can count on from it and...

Thanks a lot for the help guys. I really appreciate it. I took it in to Dealership to get a baseline of how the car should behave and they flashed the ecu and checked on the rear light assembly for me... car should be good now.. whine seems to be gone also. Thanks again

    New Black 2007 Mazda3

I'm new to Mazda, the 3, and this forum.. I was on here before in the MSP section when i was shopping for a car and considering the SpeedProtege. Decided on the 3 and now i've got it, and it's nice...but i hate new-car smell. Whatever. Here're the questions: 1) Is it common for condensation...

    Buying Used

yup, was a very fun car. Drove the SpeedProtege today, drives a lot like my car did, and feels like it too.. very very good handling, very very sticky car. The one I was considering had too many Kms on it though so I won't get it, but since that dealer always tends to have one every so often...

    Buying Used

I tend to agree with you there, and yea i am into 'that kinda thing' .. i didn't realize that it didn't handle as well as the MSP.. but it does make sense that it would be so... Going test driving this weekend ... looking both new and used.. the MSP is high on my list, so I'll be sure to...

And another question... Why not the Mazda3? Why the SpeedProtege and not the 3?

    Buying Used

...hm... sounds 'exactly' like what i'm after.... i'm not used to the 'no compromise' success story... is everyone here from the States? And does everyone use theirs as a 'commuter's daily driver'?

    Buying Used

really? that's awesome if you guys can really do that.. I should have quantified my earlier statement... I don't want to do what i did with my Paseo, which was to sink tons of money into it (especially when there's no support for the car so it's mostly custom stuff) only to make it tough to...

    Buying Used

Hellcat: -> My goals for this car are for VERY light modification, I'm coming from a Paseo, and it's actually been modded to the point of much tradeoff and I'm past that now... I want a car that I can live with AND is fun to drive, not just the latter... so beyond something like better rubber...
