Aftermarket Rear Sway Bar Bushings alternative.

I bought Prothane 19-1163 for my rears. They were a bit cheaper then the AWR ones, and still good quality. Just have to make sure you order the ones with the 4" brackets instead of the 3". Also have to bend the brackets to make them work. If you have the Clunk fix, don't think you have to bend them.

    Engine Gets Sluggish @ 3000 rpm's

Alright... So got my car back today! Alternator went out, but I got an aftermarket warranty when I bought the car, so was gonna use it to get the alternator replaced. Took it to the shop, and they did an inspection on it and found all these other things to fix under warranty. They replaced the...

    Exhaust Question

I was just looking for a decent yet inexpensive Exhaust system. Found Megan Racing had a cat-back for a p5 but not the MSP. I like the corksport one, but once add the CAT in to meet GA law, the cost is around 700.

    Help! Please

They would of had to have done one hell of a bad wiring job. lol. look forward to seeing the pics. Like Silverspeed2015 said, take good pics of the exhaust if its failing emissions, likely something there.

Got word back on the data acquisition option. Here is what they said: <i>Jason, The data acquisition option gives you four 0-5V inputs that you can view in real time or log in a data recording. The most common use is with a wideband AFR meter. The attached tech note goes into more...

My alternator just went and took it to the shop, and they found around 5500 dollars worth of other junk that needs to be fixed on it. (oil leaks, turbo, rack and pinion... etc). Thank God I invested in a warranty from the selling dealer!! But looks like ill be MSP-less for about a week or two...

Agreed!! From SS: Jason, Thank you for your inquiry. You can purchase the PSC1-020 from Split Second by email or phone (949-863-1359) for $322. If you want the data acquisition option, that adds $50 to the price. Let me know if you have any other questions. Regards, Mark Not sure what...

Rear Sway Bar Bushing, Prothane 19-1163

Was about 1/4 inch, too short. If i tried putting the bolt through it, when it got in the hole it was coming off at about a 45 degree angle. I tried working the bracket for about an hour before I tried running with just the one bolt in it. But now they are all bent funny. Would take some work to...

Car bogs under acceleration when warm

Hmm.. that is bad. I had a plug go a little while back, but it just caused a misfire as you said. Car would still run, just with little power. Felt like driving a big go-kart. I remember reading somewhere on these threads about the car going into a "limp mode" that sounds similar to what your...

Car bogs under acceleration when warm

From What i have read on these forums, the reflash helps with the issue, but does not fully solve it. The real fix is to get a Split Second AFC controller and set it up with one of the pre-configured maps in the Engine section of this fourm. It will completely fix the A/F ratio since you are...
