    Replace Pedals on MS3

bbrich57 how slippery are those pedals when your feet are wet? I have thought about getting pedal replacements also in the past, but I am always cautious as my feet are wet alot in the winter and I am worried about them slipping a lot on the smooth metal.

    urethane bushings for stock swaybars?

Does anyone know if any companies make urethane bushings for the stock swaybars on the mazda 3. I currently have the racing beat swaybars front and rear and am thinking of taking the front one off but would like to know if anyone knows if there is a replacement urethane bushing available for the...

    Rear Shock Hardware

Well I had them out today and both the nuts that mounts the shock to the mount and the mount to the car are M8 - 1.25 thread. I used a 13mm socket to get them on and off. The original nuts were smaller on the outside and required a 12mm socket. Screwy Car Manufactures Thanks, Josh

    Rear Shock Hardware

Thanks, I am going to pull them out this weekend and will update with what size they actually are. My hardware is kinda messed up too, the idiots who installed them for me, before I knew how to change them, crimped the nut that is on top of the mount (nut that connects the shock to the mount) so...

    Rear Shock Hardware

I know what size wrenches I need, but I replaced the nuts on the mount already and know that the nuts were oversized, the wrench size didn't match the thread size of standard fasteners. I believe it is the same way for the shock to mount nut too.

    Bogging down problem

I have an 07 Mazda 3 hatch with the Automatic Transmission and I just installed the corksport intake, I have noticed a slight drop in power in the low end, ie around the point you are talking about. I notice it most when going up a hill from a stand still. When I take of and can keep in the...

    Rear Shock Hardware

I have been having trouble with my rear shocks and shock mounts coming loose, and I would like to buy some new hardware for mounting them. I was wondering if anybody knows what size the nut is that holds the shock to the shock mount and what size the nuts are that fasten the shock mount to the...

    spark plugs for 08 mazda 3, 2.5

From what I gather it isn't the whole dash, just some covers down at the bottom of the center council on the passenger side. There is very little space and it is hard to get at. My filters were seriously dirty at 30,000 miles. I had mine changed when I had my car in for other maintenance.

    spark plugs for 08 mazda 3, 2.5

I haven't actually changed my cabin air filter myself, but I had it done by the dealer. I guess it is a real pain in the butt if you don't know what you are doing. Check around I believe there is a thread on changing it.

Roll call: Short ram intake users

The only thing that I was really worried about when I baught my intake was making sure it was reliably tested so I didn't get a CEL and not hydro-locking my car. I went with a SRI so the water would have to be deep enough to completely flood my car before it would suck it in. I went with...

Roll call: Short ram intake users

Have had my Corksport SRI for about a month and have had no problems up here in WI, I haven't had too much sitting in traffic though, mostly city driving. Oh and the past two weeks have been in the 90's.

    HPS Short Ram Intake REVIEW

I have the corksport SRI and an automatic transmission. The biggest change that I have noticed is that my car is much more responsive. If you drive a car with the automatic transmission correctly you can still bring the rpm's up high enough to feel the added power in the mid to high rpm range. I...

    importance of battery air dam?

The Corksport SRI does not require the battery box air-duct to be removed. I have had the intake for about a month on my 07 Mazda 3 Hatch and I took the air-duct out, but the intake fit perfectly fine without removing the air-duct. Actually if you do remove it I would recommend covering the hole...

    Bad shock ? strut?

Have you checked to make sure that your parking brake isn't sticking or hanging up. One of my parents old cars would do that from time to time and they never did figure out why. One of the wheels would just start to bounce for a short distance, and we pinned it down to the brakes, but nothing...

mazdaspeed3 Rear sway on 07 Hatch GT

Yeah you will need the bushings and brackets since the bar is a different size. My racingbeat swaybars came with new urethane bushings and brackets. I believe you will also be better off getting the MS3 endlinks also for the rear. The stud that mounts the endlink to the swaybar is different size...

    SRI or CAI

I have the corksport SRI and it is really easy to install, I can't compare it to a CAI but it was easy to me. I also want to warn people to cover the battery box airduct hole if they are using a SRI and removing the battery box airduct. If the airduct is removed rain can blow into the engine...

mazdaspeed3 Rear sway on 07 Hatch GT

For the rear swaybar you would need the mounting brackets and bushings, but I do believe that it is direct bolt on. I have the racingbeat swaybars front and rear, and I can say that if you upgrade the rear swaybar you will want to get the rear swaybar endlinks from the speed3. I broke two knock...

    Tpms

Like I said in my first post, you do not need the tpms, a light just turns on on the dash that tells you that there is an issue with the tpms system, it in no way affects the car. I run all winter without tpms on my steel winter wheels and in spring I put my stock alloys back on with the tpms...

    Tpms

Well I don't know where he got his information from, any 2008 or newer car should have tpms stock, if he got the wheels off of a 2008 then they should have had the tpms, if he bought them second hand then it is an honest mistake. My guess is that he switched the tpms onto another set of rims and...
