yes they both are just clipped in. be careful though you can break the clips you will also have to disconnect the a/c conntrols there is a wire on each side of the controls that run to levers further back under the dash. hope that helps

depending on the shop and if there backed up. or if you have to send it off it could take a week. the plating it's self can be done in a matter of a few hours but usually it takes them longer to get it done
