So, I have my single channel amp powering my subs tapped into my front speakers cuz I read somewhere that those were the ones to tap into. It sounds ok to me, but should I be tapping into the rear instead (before bose amp of course)? Or does it matter until I add a 4 channel amp.

yeah, stupid factory changers. Once for hours my CD wouldn't respond. I couldn't even select it as an option. It was like I didn't even have a CD button. Then after getting back in the car later on that night, it started working again.(burn)

I don't think I'll need to run my cables to the back all over again. I ran 4 gauge all the way to the back already, so I"ll just ad a distribution block then run the next power wire from there.

(lol) naw, not ocd. Was planning to build a shelf on the back & displaying them, but if I find a good 4 channel then I'll probably be on it.

I'm running a single 12 with an Eclipse single channel now. I just liked that amp cuz it would match what I already have. They do have a 4 channel that matches, just not on sale.

Thanks for your input. I'll probably wait, cuz no I don't wanna add anymore for the mids. And I reallt don't wanna run three amps later if I decide to power the rear doors. If my rear hatch area was not a necessity then I would.

It'll definately be powering my fronts, but what I'm wondering is it more worth it to just get a four channel & power all the speakers?

Crutchfield is having a sale on an Eclipse 2 channel amp, this one to be exact http://www.crutchfield.com/p_099EA2000/Eclipse-EA2000.html. My question is, is this worth getting? Or should I just wait for a 4 channel to power all the interior speakers?

I just bought an Eclpise XA1000 at Super Autobacs in Stanton for $159. It's a mono class d amp. It puts out 240 watts @ 4 ohm & 480 @ 2 ohms. I have a 12" JL W3 that is dual voice coil @ 4 ohms each. I plan to run it at 2 ohms. I'm pretty surprised that Memphis subs would be that power hungry...
