If your going to go to that much trouble you might as well install an oil pressure guage lol. That way instead of the dummy light you can always know if you have good pressure.

You can do what I did, install a non fouler and some OBX headers. Get more horsepower and solve the issue. Non fouler costs about 12 bucks max, OBX headers can be had online for 60 bucks or so. Hopefully you don't live in Cali, then you have to buy the pre cat, that's like 300 bucks.......

could be a fuel pump or filter. Not enough fuel, causes it to run lean, throws CEL then shortly dies because lack of fuel. Could be lots of things...

I would check to make sure you have compression in the cylinders. Could have blown a head gasket from a blocked pcv valve. This would cause the engine to not turn over and to have zero oil pressure.
