royce416 there is an adaptor base that sits behind the bulb to keep it in place with the spring clip. I saw them on ebay if your kit didn't come with it. Just installed a 5000k system last weekend and I'm lovin it.

Thank you Mazdaspeeder will the 205/45/17 correct the speedometer? It's off about 3mph doing 70 in my p5. I know that this is a popular wheel choice, so are most people using the 45 series tire on the Protege5 ?
