    2017~2025 36 month service question

Thanks. Some of the added costs of this service are from “driveline service?”, “Power steering fluid flush”, “Brake fluid flush”, “Cabin air filter Service”. ????

    2017~2025 36 month service question

Thanks for the advice everyone. I thought it was nuts but I haven’t had a Mazda for many years. The C service was $400+ but a big chunk of change was for the plugs and for turbo service which they recommend at three years. I can’t even find a reference to that in the owner’s manual, so any idea...

    2017~2025 36 month service question

So my 2019 Signature is almost due for its 36 month service. I understand that is a “C” service and more expensive. But they also want to change spark plugs and do a turbo service as well. Total cost ($Cdn) close to $1400. my jaw dropped but is this cost normal? Low mileage (20k)BTW.

    Thinking about 2022 CX-5 Turbo

For those who have seen the 2022 wing (in chrome or black) and the revised grill, what are your thoughts? Personally, in a side-by-side YouTube I preferred the 2021 styling.

2021 CX-5…Machine grey or black paint?

Coming up to three years with Machine Grey on my 2019 Signature and still loving it. Perfect colour matches after two minor accidents too. My heart always leaps at the sight of a black model in the showroom. In fact I saw a black Kuro/Carbon with black wheels at the dealer today and I had black...

    2019 CX-5 Signature - Harsh Ride?

More comfortable and supportive seats are apparently among the upgrades for the 2022 CX-5 too.

    Mazda CX-50 announced

Agree. An Outback competitor with better looks and fewer off-road capabilities. It’s wider than the CX-9 and longer and lower than the CX-5. Seems like a very different vehicle to the CX-5 despite the rumors that it will replace it after a couple of years. I wonder how many years Mazda plans to...

    Mazda CX-50 announced

Time will tell. I'm personally not looking for a longer lower wider CX-5. Funny how the rumors for a year were that the CX-50 would be the Mazda BMW X-3 fighter. Now it seems to be the urbanites' Outback. Not sure that's the CX-5's desired niche, so I’m hoping for a new CX-5. YMMV.

    Mazda CX-50 announced

I think it’s safe to say this is not going to replace the CX-5 despite earlier rumors. Seeing this, I’m looking forward to a new more stylish CX-5 with pano roof, sleek dash etc.

    Mazda CX-50 announced

Considering the peekaboo preview in the forest, and other hints that have been been dropped about its rugged sportiness, it makes think: Subaru Outback L: 4820mm, W: 1875, H: 1675mm

    2022 CX-5?

What does the “daylight kit” consist of? Personally, I think the new front end has lost some of the refinement of the pre-facelift CX-5, including the “designer” fog lights, even if they were just marker lights in practice. I do like some of the other things that are coming, like the seats...

    2022 CX-5?

Yes, I saw that YouTube too. That's the first reference or visual I've seen for fog lamps. Have there been others?

    Mazda CX-50 announced

I guess it's part of the rugged "bring you closer to nature" appeal...like a Forester, Jeep or Outback. If that's the pitch though, it would justify the long-term future of a sleek CX-5 for us "urbanites".

    2022 CX-5?

Any thoughts/rumors on how how many model years this “refresh” will last and what comes next for the CX-5? For over a year, the rumor-mill talked about the new RWD “BMW-beater” CX-50 replacing the CX-5. Now that we know the CX-50 will be a much more modest model, I wonder what that means for the...

    2022 CX-5?

It was the complete package for the price for me. I really like the Kodo design ethos. Just having the CX-5 interior appointments in a RAV wouldn’t have closed the deal for me.

    2022 CX-5?

I fully agree the mechanical changes announced, improved seats and NVH reduction are good things. My comment is that imho the front end is blander and less appealing. But hopefully it will look better in real life than photos.

    2022 CX-5?

Anyone else think the 2022 front-end redesign is a step backward? I personally liked the character line at the bumper ending in my Signature's "designer" fog lamps. I also don't think the headlight grill combination looks as upscale but maybe it will be nicer in person than photographs.

They sure knew how to layer on the camo though lol.

    2022 CX-5?

What’s the effect of AWD on the driving dynamics of torsion beam vs independent suspension? I had a CX-30 loaner for a day but I was more aware of feeling claustrophobic and the terrible rear views than the actual performanice.
