    CX-90 Reviews are out

This review by savagegeese is exactly how I felt when driving the Telluride and Palisade. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jljwgPS_ero&t=188s I can't wait for their review of the CX-90. From their comments, they really like the driving dynamics for the CX-90.

With all the Kia/ hyundai recalls, I am amazed anyone can recommend them.

    CX-90 Reviews are out

Not sure what all the negativity is about. I find most reviews to be very positive. I also appreciate they did not make a huge Escalade type of monstrosity. The PHEV looks to be better than anticipated. I just wish it had the full interior as the Premium plus. Can't wait for the CX-70!

    CX-90 Reviews are out

So that might mean that an aftermarket tune could increase the power on the standard engine.

Just test drove a CX-90 3.3L Turbo Premium Plus!

These reports sound great! A PHEV with the room of a CX-9 could be the best of both worlds!

    Mazda Canada CX-90 Trim Details

Yeah, that is huge plus as well. The 280 hp version and the 340 hp appear to be different enough to justify the price difference to me. I am really tempted by the CX-90 but really want the CX-70 - as I don't need the third row. And my head says wait a year for them to get the kinks worked out.

    Mazda Canada CX-90 Trim Details

My post was about performance. How much difference is there between a 250 hp, 320 lb-ft car versus a car 300 lbs heavier and with 280 hp/, 332 b-ft? My hope is that while the "numbers" will be similar, the ride feel and refinement will be greater.

    Is the CX-60 a dud?

Well, these are the new reviews for the diesel and they don't sound much better. The engine seems fantastic but let down by the chassis. These lines: "There’s a cheapness to proceedings. The back axle also lacks the control and precision that you get from the Germans, which perhaps sounds a...

    2021 CX-9 Burning oil

Yes, this is only for the 2.5T. Personally, I am at a crossroads with Mazda. These engine issues are a worry that I do not want.

    2021 CX-9 Burning oil

I did that and took pictures of the stick right after the oil change (less than 25 miles) at 1500 miles, at 3000 miles and at 4500 miles. I did this on multiple oil change and posted the pictures here. For the most part, the oil remained rock steady up to 3000 miles. At 4500 it was close to the...

    Mazda Canada CX-90 Trim Details

So the new CX-90 is anywhere from 300-500 lbs heavier than the CX-9. That might make the overall performance of the "regular" inline 6 similar to the current CX-9 on premium.

Considering a 2018 CX-9 but concerned about 2.5T oil consumption

The 2021 2.5T engine - in multiple models - had oil burning issues that in most cases, were a quart of oil over 5000 miles. I had a 2018 CX-9, which burned no oil. I have had multiple non turbo 2.5 engines in multiple Mazda's and none of them burned oil. To my knowledge, only the 2021 model...

That has some crazy high torque figure as well. Amazing gas mileage by the way.

    Is the CX-60 a dud?

Looking at this review: https://www.irishtimes.com/motors/review/2023/03/15/mazdas-cx-60-shows-all-thats-wrong-with-phevs/ The CX-60 comes off as an absolute dud. Is this a one off thing or have Mazda botched the vehicle? I hope the CX-70 and CX-90 are not like this.

Mazda CX-70 buying decision and timing

I agree with the CX-9 seats, as they are one thing I don't like about my CX-9. I personally loved the way the CX-50 drove. The steering is very heavy but direct.
