Yeah, that is huge plus as well. The 280 hp version and the 340 hp appear to be different enough to justify the price difference to me. I am really tempted by the CX-90 but really want the CX-70 - as I don't need the third row. And my head says wait a year for them to get the kinks worked out.

Yes, this is only for the 2.5T. Personally, I am at a crossroads with Mazda. These engine issues are a worry that I do not want.

So the new CX-90 is anywhere from 300-500 lbs heavier than the CX-9. That might make the overall performance of the "regular" inline 6 similar to the current CX-9 on premium.

The 2021 2.5T engine - in multiple models - had oil burning issues that in most cases, were a quart of oil over 5000 miles. I had a 2018 CX-9, which burned no oil. I have had multiple non turbo 2.5 engines in multiple Mazda's and none of them burned oil. To my knowledge, only the 2021 model...

I agree with the CX-9 seats, as they are one thing I don't like about my CX-9. I personally loved the way the CX-50 drove. The steering is very heavy but direct.

I saw other pictures and noticed that you can now control the second row HVAC from the front. Very nice!
