First off I wouldn't seafoam your engine, there's debate as to whether it actually does anything. I wouldn't let it sit overnight either. As for the intake try to ground it, see if it does anything. If the car won't run right without it then you should keep it on, driving around with rough idle...

Try an air intake of some sort, either in the engine bay or below in the wheel well for cooler air. A tune up, I'd be weary of seafoam though. Anything that reduces the restriction of the air/exhaust flow, you'll hear about back pressure affecting performance this links pretty good at explaining...
