It's just my camera. I'm not sure why it always makes them look purple, but that area is the stock black.

The sun has faded the red quite a bit. I will be getting the red carbon fiber kit from Corksport someday to cover it all. Until then I will be defending it's redness to all those who remark "Cool! You painted your interior orange!" :mad:

hehe, yours looks pretty nice, like a red/metallic? not too orange, imo. im going to have a paint shop professionally paint it so it doesnt crack in the future, and so it comes out smoother and shiner. gl with your c/f red theme, thatll look nice. nice work dude.

Thanks. We popped out all the pieces and painted them with Duplicolor Metalcast Annodized Red. I like the metallic a lot - I'm just an impatient little b**** and put the pieces back in before they were fully cured so the sun had its way w/it. There's a great How To on painting your interior that I may do so the red CF blends into the red underneath since the kit is flat, not molded. Oh, I almost forgot, I got a red/white/black flameball shifter also:
