Greddy Oil Filter Block Adaptor

Well here's a few pictures of the Greddy Oil Filter Block Adaptor (http://www.greddy.com/products/products.asp?catidx=5&catname=Oil%20Related&prodtype=22&prodtypename=Oil%20Filter%20Block%20Adapter) I got from JRP (www.jrponline.com). Total cost was about $120 CDN after tax. I ran into a few problems with it right from the start - the threads for the two senders were not 1/8" NPT like my senders are, they are something else really close. So I ended up buying a 1/8" NPT tap and rethreaded the holes to what I needed. My pressure sender is also HUGE, so I needed a 45 or 90 degree elbow so the sender wouldn't hit the block. I'll see once I get under the car which one will work best. Finally, I didn't have a socket big enough for the oil filter extension part, so I ended up getting a 1-1/16" socket and a 3/8" to 1/2" adaptor because my torque wrench is 3/8".

So if you get one of these, make sure you have all that stuff on hand before you try installing. I'll add more pics of the installation when it drys up.

update please. and what guage comes with that huge sender? that thing is ginormous.

That's the stewart warner pressure sender. Same sender for oil and fuel pressure (well, same size anyhow).

the threaded bolt that holds on the oil filter is too long to allow this thing to clamp on tightly enough. I'm ordering a shorter replacement bolt, and once it gets here I'll do a How To for this install. Probably 2 weeks from now though.
