so after all the fuss and crap with wheelsnext(they weren't THAT bad, but it was frustrating nonetheless.) I got my wheels and the tires. yeah, holes seemed to be a popular choice, and i kinda wanted get something different, but i loved the color and i felt like it really matches well with my white paint and tinted windows. Result: I loooooove it, very slick and sexy, and the eibach is just a PERFECT choice of the springs for everyday driver that wants a good look and some performance kinda guy like me.

tires: toyo proxes 4 205/40/17
wheels: Konigs hole, 17x7 45 offset

Very nice.. I have a cooworker that ordered rims+tires for his accord.. they got shipped to Florida by mistake.. now they are charging him $200 more to reship them back to Hawaii..
Really bad business practices.

mmm, rims=hawt...wheelsnext doesnt sound so hot, i guess I better stay away from them.

that looks so hot..........not my choice of wheel since everyone has them, but graphite w/chrome lip on white = teh s***

im looking at the falken torque 5's in graphite......................................my wife doesnt know im looking, cuz she would kill me. i already bought the DG lip & grill without tellingh her. then i tried to convince her that i did tell her and that she just didnt hear me :D

Looks nice and clean. I love the wheels, even if "everyone" has them. But, I might be a little biased. ;)

I see everyone saying "everyone has them," but honestly yours is the first car I've seen with them...followed by vodapas77 (lol)

Haven't seen any cars in person with the rims.

I think I understand why people are starting to say "everyone has them." They have become a popular wheel with the Protege folks because the offset isn't too far off stock and because they are an attractive design (IMO) with a unique color at a decent price. (I say unique color because they aren't really gunmetal. Gunmetal is more of a flat color, while these are graphite which has more of a gloss with a metal flake in it.)

When I first got mine I think only myself, Matthew and Stealth5 had them, and I'm pretty sure I was the only one who had them in 18". However, since then a few other board members have gotten them. But, why people think they are so common is because you see a lot (and I mean a lot) of Civics running around with them.

Ok, sorry for the thread jack.

thanks for the comments.
I took it for a fun drive to a coast today and the tires are f%$^ing glue. The road is narrow and curvey, and i was going like 90 (hand). It drives so awsome i had blast driving through these roads. It also felt VERY safe though I was going pretty fast. The tires really held up well and the springs obviously helped. Now i can really say that it was worth the wait.

overall, I am extremely happy with my rims/tires/springs setup. I would definitly reccommend these tires for anyone who wants a great "everyday driving that can really kick up a notch when needed" kinda tires....
