I repainted some stuff in my engine bay. The engine cover, fuse box cover, battery tie-down, radiator brackets, and strut bar are painted with Dulpicolor Metalcast Yellow paint. Only things missing are a Optima Yellow Top and some hard pipes...can't wait for summer:D

it looks ok, but i think you should paint it a contrasting color...even though i know its not your intent, it looks like a color matching job gone bad.

even though i dont like the color, it still looks like you did quality work however.

Great idea and quality work, but I don't like the gold with your yellow car.
I think a contrasting colour or an exact match to your exterior colour would have been a better choice.
Just my $0.02.

what paint did u guys use??? i want one for A22 (midnight blue)

I've only seen Metalcast in Anodized Red, Blue, & Yellow (all with a Silver Metallic Base Paint). It's designed for brake calipers...I don't think you can get a specific color.

When I bought it, the can said designed for brake calipers, although you CAN use it for engine stuff just like I did. Try looking for it at Walmart in the auto section...that's where I bought mine.

Very clean. Nice job but i do agree with matthew. Maybe match the colour or paint it black or whatever your colour scheme is.

The picture doesn't do the paint justice. In person it doesn't look gold at all. I'll try to get some better pics tommorow.
