That Spec V needs a drop....

Not sure if anyone has, but I'm sure it's not a big issue...just photochop some (color fill) photos of a P5 and see how it'd look!

That kid on the couch is funny. I was thinking about doing my wifes yellow mp5 in black with red ring around the outer edge. I have gunmetal on my civic and love it. How much does it cost to get a rim powder coated?

Thats not bad. I wonder how well it would hold up if I painted them myself. There should be some paint out there that will hold up.

I don't like how the gunmetal came out it looks like a plain grey powdercoating the stock rims black looks so sweet (evil)

BTW.. I will probably powdercoat my rims black like the above pic since I have a white car but I'am not sure what is cheaper just to buy rims or powdercoat my stock wheels the price seems to be pretty much the same (scratch)

There are places that do powdercoating specifically. Do a search online or in the yellowpages and I'm sure you can find at least a few. And it usually runs around 50 to 75 per wheel depending on what finish you want (I.e. Metallic, etc.)

As for powdercoating rims vs. Getting new ones, don't new rims (good ones) usually run 100+ per rim? Powdercoating is about 250 for all 4...

The reason that I think they are about the same is because people have been telling me that they charge you for everything (labor) taking off the rim for the tire and putting back on, etc....

Doesn't anyone have pics of protege 5 rims that are **powdercoated**... not painted.... (monkey2). See how even it looks on the SE-R with a true powdercoat job.... the painted ones dont have a consistant look to them... (canada) (rockon)
