For the most part it was an easy fit. The hardest part is removing the old grill which is really secure.

I also had to dremel out the holes in the DG grill because two of them weren't large enough.

Other than that pretty easy.

Yeah the hardest part is removing the stock grille I broke 2 pieces off of it, The DG grille looks so much nicer. I had to make it look even better because I did'nt like how it looked without an emblem so I put the mazda emblem on. The only thing that you have to concern yourself with is the mesh the black paint starts to chip off and you will have to either re-paint or ghetto sharpy it in with a black marker but other than that it's def worth to buy.

Concept does the weave match up with the grille ok and is it the same shade?That is what's keeping me from buying a hood. I want it too look the same but the dg hood is way to expensive.

The shade of the weave matches quite well. The pattern is not exactly the same, but it is pretty close. I like the way that the hood and grill ended up looking together, and I am usually pretty picky. I am planning on getting the sides of the hood and eyelids painted to match the car, and keeping the center of the hood and the grill CF.
