I want to know how many people here have, or plan on having vinyl decals of any kind on their car.

I have a small one on my window. Its and evil MSP with the website address on it. Ill post a pic later.

I've been looking at some subtle side and hood graphics at www.speedgraphics.net but I'm a little unsure. Reason being is the upkeep of the vinyl vs. the upkeep of the paint. I like keeping my car waxed and washed and vinyl doesn't work well with certain soaps and definitely not wax so I'm still debating. They've got some neat stuff out though. :D

Probably just of a logo of the business that my cousin has(one on each rear window). No Fast and the Furious 4 me.

is this what ur referring to?

Just wondering, but why do people put vinyl decals on their cars for companies (like that ractive decal togan has). I'm not saying people can't like them, I'm just curious, since it definetily doesn't add hp, doesn't make the car look better imo (not saying it really makes the car look worse), and last of all, lets people know the expensive stuff in your car, making it more prone to being stolen or broken into. I understand people that have sponsors are required to have decals, but otherwise, if it's just a word or phrase vinyl decal why do you people use them? Please dont flame me here, I'm honestly curious about this.......and I do respect people's personal oppinions.

ALSO, Togan:, how come your stock rims have like screws on them at the end of each spoke? Mine dont have those....

Thanks!

why? don't know. I also have injen and catz hid decals. i just put those on because I like to show off?? what do you with your decals when you get'em from manufacturers? put them your wall? lol

I dont put them on my car....I personally dont like putting lots of manufacturers names on my car, and I especially dont want to increase the change of my car getting broken into or stolen! I have a kicker subwoofer system and have some kicker decals, but I'm not gonna out them on my car since I dont want someone to know I have expensive car audio equipent in my car while it's parked and I'm away from my car....

(lol) don't be scared. is there alot of theft living near your area?
maybe putting electronic decals such as kicker..alphine ...kenwood stuff will be car theft magnet but putting ractive, injen, catz...tein? nah~

Very true, I guess car audio stuff is a lot more desireable for people to take and usually worth a lot more than other stuff. Either way, why do you want to cover parts of the beautiful paintjob?

he he my car is big enough to take 1000's decals

I dont think it looks nice at all. but I am ont looking for the race high performance type look. I just want my car to look nice. kinda sporty but nice. I also dont want to attract attention from the po-lese. they dont like younger guys as it is. specially in a sports type car. if I raced my car and was faithful to some certain brands I woudl do it... but that is it.

Togan - Still wondering, how come you have like screwholes or something on each spoke of your stock rims?

i put ractive becoz i have ractive under the hood, its just customizing ur car using ur creativity i.e u choose where to stick it etc

as for the screws, its 17' custom made rims from o.z..................................ur right they dont come in stock rims...............coozzz.....................................they're stickers! (laugh)

i get alota attention! everytime im at the lights, the driver of the car beside me always looks down at them lol

also notice the zoom-zoom sticker where its stuck? that one is also apart of customizing ur car, thats the idea i came up with and that makes my car unique
