How much RMS power for my BA setup?

on the 3-4th of april.for wire, if you plan right on the install for your other amp you won't need that much more than 20$ worth of wire and 10$ for a disto block to install this second amp. The box would probably be more around 100$ though, unless you can do it yourself or have someone make it for you. It's a really simple box though...all you need is a 1.5CF box. 6 pieces...easy to make.
don't worry...that'll be plenty good for a while. I don't run more than 70 on mine, I think...it can be downright painful at the full 120W.this thread went nutz. so your final plan is to get the eD 12o, jbl 600.1, and the mrp-t220 (already ordered?) for the components? you running the rears off the deck? now you just need power and ground wires, dist block, battery terminal, fuse holder or 2, sub box, RCA cables, remote wire and soem speaker wire.
yes for the selection, yes i already ordered the 220 (just got my rc620s in today), yes the rears will be powered off the deck...i also ordered the wiring kit with the fuse and wires (though when i get the money to buy the sub and amp ill need to buy another set of rcas, and a dist block, and prolly some more power wire)...i wish i could buy the sub and 600.1 right now (cause im an impatient ****) but i cant, just investing too much into this car right this minute. prolly in like 2-3 months ill get it.parks853 said:

well i put my deck in on saturday, and i just got my rc620s in. ive had my nx67s sitting in my room for a while. then i ordered the amp and wire kit yesterday and ill hook up the speakers and amp when it all gets here and servo gets my speaker however, ill have to wait until i can gather around $500-550 for the setup just mentioned. then ill buy it all at once and install it all at once. but until then, 
matthew, are you stealing my sound system, lol? you chose the same speakers i have (rc-620's & nx67's) mine are powered by an alpine amp (mrv-f450; 5 channel). 50X4, 200X1. as far as the sub, i have a JL 12W3v2 in a sealed box (which also saves some space). the weak link is my head unit. it isnt bad, but i would like to upgrade it (kenwood excelon kdc-x559).
i think you will really like the bostons. they sounded good even when i didnt have them amplified, although they do sound better now. also, i have the fade more towards the front because the rear speakers are loud. for as much as people say the rear speakers dont matter because you cant hear them, i definitely notice them.

hehe...he's close to your setup...difference is his 12o is closer to a 12w6v2 than a 12w3v2.
Avoid the Kenwood HUs! So unreliable...I'm not getting rid of mine until I get a flip out screen, though...also...we don't say the rear speakers don't count because you can't hear them. We say, upgrading the rear speakers and amping them is just throwing cash at something that generally will negatively affect your soundstage unless you tune everything really really right. Instead of adjusting the fade, why not adjust the gain on your amp for the rear channels? Generally better way to do it in my experience.

my point has allways been, that you shouldn't notice or hear rear speakers if u want a realistic sound. i never have speakers behind me when i go to concers so i prefer not to have sound behind me when i am in my car. i say take all the money you'd spend on rear speakers and amping the rear speakers, and add that to the money u have for the front speakers and buy a great pair of fronts. thats where 90% of the music comes from.
