My setups

This is my first post of pictures of it, well sort of it. It's been snowing/raining here for a while so I didn't actually take any pictures of the car just of the turbo timer and my system set up. Tell me what you guys think I've had it all in there for about 4 to 5 months now. I'll have to post pics of the car after I was it and it gets more sun. Oh yeah and I stand a bit to one side so excuse the tilt on the pictures.

yea t3ase that sig is awsome, and no devilspawn I still have the stock speakers in I intend to change them once their blown out but they seem to be holding their own pretty well, however I do believe the driver side speaker is blown but I'm not quite sure. My leg always blocks it anyway so I dunno. I didn't want to spend the money on new speakers just yet besides the kenwoods dont sound bad. I like the stock HU although every time I look on the internet I see a ton that I want more, but I try to restrict myself. I'm saving up for ion's turbo-back and some more to tint my windows. Thanks for the comments guys.

oh god, what is a matter with you! BEST BUY?!? SEALED?!?! NO CAP?!?! GRILL COVERS??!?! I perfer vented reason being sealed sounds like crap at loud volumes. I need to post pics of my system once i get a new digital camera . Infinity Speakers all around and Alpine amps Now if i could just dynamat my car....

Sealed? I'm not quite sure what you are talking about here. As far as I know nothing is sealed with the subs or the box. Are you talking about if it's ported or not? Yes it is ported you just can't see them that well you can see the start of them in the backed up pictured the silver on top of the box is the start of them. Yup the cap is there and the only reason I got rockfords and everything at best buy is cause i got it all for more than half off cause my friend works there. Would've all been around 1500 with installation and he managed right around 580 for me. I said fine with me and the 4 year warranty which is supposed to be $20 a sub and $30 or $40 for the amp came out to be $3 for each of the subs and $5 for the amp under his discount Sound is great, this setup shocked me.

not my cup of tea... all you really did was just slow down your car and lose cargo space. i say this because those speakers and amps are very low qual, it doesnt make sense to install them and add that much weight when your not gettin any better sound quality. but either way good job

Looks good. How much extra weight does that add though? Do you get any rattle?

Well like I said the sound suprised me and I never use my trunk anyway. Trust me their not low quality I can bash these things for hours on hours and they still sound great, and not getting any better sound quality then what? our stock sub and amp cause if that's what your referring to these are 1000x better than our stock setup. The only thing I might change is the amp. I hooked my subs up to my friend soundstream amp and then we hooked up his jl's to his amp and they both are putting out about the same amount of power but when hooked up to my amp well ill just stop there lol. Plus I've seen tons of msp owners that can't break 15's at the track. For the price I paid it was worth it so I got nothing to complain about.

The box and subs do weigh quite a lot I weighed in at the track with 2950lbs with half a tank of gas and me (130lbs) so I dunno I never did the math if you do though tell me lol, and the only thing that rattles is right above the box where the 6x9's would go if we had them. Just that plastic there. I'm gonna do something about it eventually but I don't really care it's fine with me for now.
