damn, $9,000?

I remember when I spun a rod bearing on my V6 Probe GT. Shop said $3800 to rebuild the motor. I said "How much to drop in a new motor?" Guy said "$450". So $400 for a junkyard motor and $450 lablr. That's $850 compared to $3800.

and a motor that you dont know if it was beat on or not. It is a good solution to your problem, but a rebuilt motor would be like new.

Rebuilt motors only cost like $2,000. So $2,000 + $450 still is a ton cheaper.

i have a t3/t4 stage 3 57 trim 63 ar on a bone stock motor i was running 10 pound but when it blew up i was only at like 3 psi it pulled the threads of the rod stud

but know i have ordered 8.5-1-1 pistons and pauter rods from perfworks and got a copper headgasket from ddog777 also got spec stage 3 clutch and flywheel im trying to find some one that makes good cams and valves and springs

at 10 psi on a turbo the size of a t3/t4 your problem is not so much internal strength as it is timing and fuel supply - consider perfworks new engine management system he's working on with wagner.

Now that's some tensile stress! (wow)

You got me a little worried now. I have the same turbo except with a .48 A/R. I've been running 8PSI and now problems, but was thinking about going to 10. I'll stay where I am until I get my second motor built in the spring.

Are you doing anything to the trans? The stage III you have might be a little harsh for our drivetrains. I have the stage II and the guy at Spec said that would be the best until the trans is strengthend.
