Grinding sound becoming more consistent

Hello, I was wondering if anybody could help me. I recently purchased a 2010 Mazda CX-9 and I replaced the brakes and the rotors, but I noticed when I first got it that when I would press on the brakes, there was a grinding sound and now it’s getting more consistent even without me, pressing on the brake. I don’t know what I should be looking at to fix it.

This is the first Mazda vehicle I’ve ever owned so if anybody has any ideas, please don’t hesitate to shoot them my way, thanks in advance.

Hello, I had the same issue with my CX-9 20. I unfortunately went to a local shop I never used before that had the same issues when the pads got hot. I went to CarMax to where I originally bought the car. At first, they just resurfaced them, and that seemed to work. I took it back there again, and they replaced the pads with their own product. I haven’t had an issue since.

The noise is there every time you brake?
