2017~2025: Painted my CX-5 Brake Calipers

Charmer383

2023 CX5 Turbo
Since the moment I purchased the vehicle I knew I would do this. I've done other vehicles as it just adds that extra touch. Changed the oil and rotated the tires so I though it was time to do. Long process but worth it. First place I went when done I got a compliment which made it worth it. Rustoleum paint was used and I brushed on multiple coats followed by multiple clear coats. Washed, clay bared and waxed rims while off also.

nice work man! i've been thinking about painting my calipers too. did you use any specific type of rustoleum or just the regular stuff? wondering if it'll hold up to the heat

Just regular stuff. Nothing special. I've done multiple vehicles with it over the years. Key is the prep work. My old DD cruze and my one vette.
