My LED light completely rusted out along with the connector. Dealer had bad news. You can't just buy the connector. You have to buy an entirely new lift gate. Crazy. So, I figured I could cut the wire and crimp some female connectors on and connect to the new light. In my hastiness I forgot to check which wire goes to the top connector and bottom. I guess I had the wires crossed and my other brake light bulbs blew. Put some new bulbs in connected the wire, but still none of the lights will go one now. Any ideas?
Also, which wire is suppose to go to the top and bottom of the light?
