The modifications will start now

Nice man. If memory serves that had a 4.7l V8, swap the euro bits over and you'd gain a fair bit of power :)

Would a nice car to drive :D

If you find the desire to impart any wisdom/knowledge check out my build :)

@OP

Just had a thought your unlikely to want to spend the 500 ish dollars AWR want as such at least look into the racing 626 header. Its better than the OBX :)

Its a wine red pre-S 928, so it has the 4.5L 16 valve SOHC V8. US rated at around 255bhp...You're correct, they went to 4.7L later that year, with a bump in power...but i have a Brittish ECU, fuel injection, and exhaust system...people dyno'ing those changes alone put down over 270whp from the factory 230'ish...gotta love 80's V8's...they're so restricted that just an air filter change and you'll notice a huge difference...

I'm chasing some electrical shorts, it loves to kill batteries...but only when parked, charges fine while driving...but its rare to find early 928's in a manual, so i have to keep it alive haha.

and sure dude, i'll check your stuff out...haven't been active on here for a while, but will be changing that.

Cheers man.

Yeah I love it when it works out like that :) Heh I'd love a Porsche, not sure about the running costs but all the same man I bet it makes you smile :)

yea i have one rockford amp(p5002) powering some kickers a 1/2 farad cap an optima yellow top,and when i turn it up i get flickering and dimming. ive heard the millenia alternator bolts in with a pulley swap

Sounds good! I was thinking about a capacitor and a new upgraded battery (I need the battery anyways). Hopefully that would save me from getting a new alternator

Why does nobody search around and see what high output alternators do to ecu's?

It would fry it. that's why I said hopefully I wouldn't ahve to get a ne walternator, because I would have to do all the work with the ecu and wiring to handle it. I feel your point, though.

got it installed no problems, love it haven't really romped on it yet, waiting til it's light out tomorrow..
only thing I'm not a fan of is the coolant bracket is loose, I'm gonna put some tape in the slide insert to make it tighter

next i need a capacitor
