3.5 VIN fishieness?

You know - I had the worst time with shift knobs when I was buying my MSP. All the dealers seemed to have lost the damn things (one of the reasons I've been so confused on what I got). One of the reasons I got the car I did was because it was the only dealer I went to that didn't have to spend 30 minutes locating something so I could test-drive.

One of them gave me an 03 knob (the ones that have the Sparco logo), another gave me a regular protege knob & one took so long trying to locate one of the stupid things I finally told the guy I'd test drive without one >.<

This knob is standard on the SP20 over here i think the P5 comes with the leather knob too.

That's the knob they gave you? That thing looks terrible. I was hoping you had something similar to what I have, with the exception of being entirely leather. Sorry, I would have to kick my own ass if I made that trade. Yeah, you should try to buy one. Try running a search. I know I saw someone else selling his 03.5 knob yesterday.
