Well let me start by introducing myself as i am new to the forum. My name is Pepe, i am 18 and i live in Detroit, MI. I have been a car enthusiast since i picked up my psp and played midnight club 3 dub edition lol, bare with me. In high school took auto class and fell in love since. I had 2 zx2's as starter cars and i also had an Explorer Eddie Bauer (gas sucked on that thing). Now im on my first Protege5 and man, something about it, i cant see myself selling this thing anytime soon. Im sure some of you seen my earlier posts about the EGR and misfires as well as my sideskirt posts and others. I promised pics and well here they are:
My plans are as followed (for show currently):
-Lip
-SVT Cobra wheels (never seen a P5 with Cobras and the stance would be so aggressive on it)
-Short Antenna
-JDM Tow hooks (Bronze, going for a Red and Bronze look)
-Yellow Foglights w/HID kit
-Blue HID on headlights
-Sticker bomb the lip and other parts
-2 12' Subs w/In dash stereo, upgraded speakers, tweeters, custom box and epicenter
-5% Tint in back and 25% up front
-Flush!! (need help with lowering options)
-Clear turning fender turning lights (Have them waiting to install)
-Eyelids
-New Grille (looking for the mesh carbon fiber grille on top and bottom)
-Painting the area where the exhaust tip comes out black
-And a Borla muffler (not decided yet but looking for a nice tone muffler)
-Lastly widen up the fender flares to make it look like its sitting the new wheels
So by the pictures the p5 needs a bit of work, has some rust on the hood and fenders (Body wise, currently needs a sideskirt, 2 doors (the driver door is wavy and the passenger back door is jammed due to a side swipe) and a hood) (Engine wise, just an EGR
) once i get the body straight, i wanna repaint it the same color. The car is an automatic, only bad part about it :/ but other than that just needs new carpet in the front and small interior parts. Im open to new ideas and ive searched through the forum and MAN, these are some really badass p5's. Thanks guys for viewing my p5. Have a good day and ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM!!
