Evo 8 seats in Protege5

Hey all

So a friend of mine rolled his evo last spring into a snowbank. With only storage insurance on the car its now a crumpled beer can. The plus side for me is he has alot of parts to sell!! So for $75 a seat i couldn't pass it up! I only used one of the evo seat mounts and i still need to cut and adjust it.(left rear of driver. Right rear passenger). All other brackets were cut off my old seats and bolted on. The seats are 80% in. I have to adjust that last tab and square and level the seats and im done!! Ill try and get more pics up. All i had was my phone.

I'm officially jealous. My best friend drives an evo and I love his seats. Supportive and sng but still so comfortable.

Sorry guys i didn't get around to getting the seats finished. I had a b**** of a time o Saturday with my rear motor mount. Couldn't pay me to do another. But here is some pics from before i did any cutting. The Evo seats are simple. Everything is bolted on so i took off all mounts except for one. The evo seats are not as wide as the stock seats so i had to use this tab as it sticks out farther then the P5 seat.

On the P5 I had to drill spot welds and drill two rivets per seat to get the tabs off. Took some time but not all that bad. After i had them all off i just used the holes from the rivets and spot welds to bolt them onto the evo seats. I left everything loose and put the seats in and torqued everything down in place. The plan is to weld them in place on the seats when i'm all done.
