AEM water/meth injection system question

I recently installed the AEM injection system and ran into a problem at the end. The system does not turn on when i am driving. When I push 'test' the pump goes on and it sprays but when i am driving it does not turn on. The system is supposed to turn on when the appropriate amount of boost is send to the controller box. I ran the boost line from the controller box through the firewall behind the glovebox and into the tip wunder where the tmic was ic_removed.webp. is this a reliable boost source, ive only read this once. should i just tap into the vacuum line that runs from the blow off valve where i have my boost gauge run? also could the tube be pinched and thats why it doesnt work? Please HelP!

eh, I would tap into the BPV line that's the easiest and most reliable. If you want to check to see if it gets pinched well just get a vac gauge and see if you can pull pressure, or you can always just put water into it see if it leaks out.

I had the same problem at first after putting in my Labonte kit, vacuum was fine, wiring was fine, putting it in test worked fine but when driving I couldn't get it to work, until I found the sweet spot on the progressive controller, which on mine operates from 0% to 100% depending on where you set your boost perimeters on the controller. There is about a 4-5psi difference in what the controller setpoints are and the actual vacuum of the car. My turbo(aftermarket) spools at 0 psi and maxes at 8, and I had to set the controller to start at 8 psi and max out at 12, and then the pump would kick in at the turbo's real 4psi, maxing out at the real 8psi. So it was working to begin with, it was just still looking for it's starting boost pressure. The vacuum system reads correct pressure, I can only assume the pump controller is getting a different vacuum reading. This was my troubleshooting experience though, but that maybe what you're encountering. Good luck!
