FS: All my Protege 5 / Protege parts

Well, I finished returning my car to stock on Wednesday and traded it in on Thursday so it is time to unload all these parts.

I haven't been an active poster for some time now - but in my first few years of buying the car i had big plans for it ( you can read my diary to learn more about me from back in the day if you want http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=105396 )

That being said here are my parts. Some of them are clearly targeted at more local members, but lets see what we can do. I haven't been around in a lonnggggggg time because I've been busy renovating the house, so if any of my prices seem way off, direct me to a recent sale and I'll consider it.

AEM Short Ram Intake - SOLD Shipped
Chrome/polished door handle pulls and an assortment of cups - SOLD Shipped
Shorty Antenna - SOLD Shipped
Polished DaveB gauge Rings - SOLD Shipped

Random badges - MS, and big M and a Familia Badge and Mazdaspeed badges are gone - you can have the "M"if you buy something else.

Leather Shift Boot, Ebrake boot and Shift Knob - Boots are SOLD, shifter knob can get thrown in for anyone who wants it with something else.

P7 Deadpedal - It was well used, but because it is just metal it can be sanded back to its original beauty without any trouble. If you go see my diary I made custom inserts for it - they are pretty beat up now, but I'll throw them in if you want them to model your own after. $35 SHIPPED

MSP radio pocket and support bar - clips and screws included. Has a hole cut out in the back big enough to run an ipod cable through. i'll throw in my custom switch panel (see diary) since it was made for the box. $60+shipping for all of it.[/B

Painted Radio suround with real Carbon fiber sides, painted shift suround and painted door switch plates - all sanded and primed by me and painted by mazda in actual exterior red. Door plates are in excellent shape, as is the shift surround (for being 5 years old or so) Radio surround is a little dinged up from when my stereo was stolen - it could be easily fixed with a red touch up paint pen. The carbon fiber sides need to be re stuck to the trim in a few places. They looked great in the car! $150 for everything + shipping

4 Mazdaspeed Racinghart Rims - SOLD

99-03 Protege seat rails/brackets - the tracks that go on the floor. Use them to put your stock seats back in or for a custom install project. I paid $90 for the stupid things 3 days ago so i could put my stock seats back in, but when I took my seats out of storage I realised I had thought ahead and already bought a set 5 years ago. That said, $90 + shipping.

Acura RSX leather seats - already welded onto mazda brackets. These will drop right in your car. The welds are really solid and these seats were my babies! Most comfortable seats I have ever sat in. A disclaimer RE putting non-stock seats in your car: understand the known and documented risks of putting in a seat that is not stock. Also know that I accept no liability regarding those risks. That being said, the welds are very good. They sit a little higher than stock, and have connectors so you could potentially hook up the heated seats. Drivers side airbag is gone, but passenger side is intact - know that it is electronic and poses no risk. You could probably remove it and sell it for a quick hundred to somone who needs it.

The drivers side seat looks liek it is ripped - but it is JUST the stitching. The seam stitch got snagged and broke and its slowly pulled apart at the seam. Can easily be sewn back up with the cushions off before putting them in. $350 for the set, local pickup only

More to follow - I have a Pioneer AVIC-N2 unit that needs a new faceplate and needs to have a new ribbon connector put in for the screen, a ton of stereo wiring/acessories/fuses etc.

would you consider selling just the remote? and if so can i get the FCC ID stamped on the back?

Yes I would consider selling just the remote - just out of curiosity why would you need the FCC?

im not a car security guru so i dont know whats interchangeable. i have a 560xv (i think) and i figure if the FCC id's of the remotes are the same it's compatible. the remotes look the same...

it says right on the package which alarms it is compatible with - I'll check it when i get home and let you know

hmmm looks like you might be out of luck - says its good for the 591XV, 690XV, 790XV, and 791XV.

The model number on the remote is 479V if that helps

weird - i think my module was a 560xv since thats what i have an install PDF for... that was a one way only system, but i have a two way remote and it works properly (well it used to). its also a 479V.

PM me a dollar amount you think is fair for the remote and ill mull it over. shipping is to 06062 if that matters.
