Horrible squeak from rear suspension?

I just replaced the swaybar bushings with AWR ones, and I greased em up good.

Back when I had bad OEM swaybar bushings, the squeaks sounded a lot more like wet sneakers on a linoleum floor

The new squeek sounds a lot more like a rusty hinge, and I think it's a lot noisier in the car than outside. I hear it whenever I go over a speedbump or stop hard. But when I press down on the back of the car, I can barely hear anything.

I just got SS brake lines put it... anything the mechanic might have messed up in the process?

Possibly the sway bar end links or strut seats? I'd try uninstalling the entire rear sway bar, then drive it under the same conditions in which you heard the noise before. If it goes away after you take that bar off, you A) installed the bar wrong the first time, or B) The end links are shot. I'd count on B.

thanks I think I probably will try taking off the swaybar.
two more questions though;
1)Is a strut seat the same as a spring seat?
2)endlinks fail often I take it?

the squeking is the pre curser to the clunk, lube your bushings on the rear sway ASAP!!!!!!!!!!

Uhh, turns out it was the sound of this happening.

I figured it out when the squeak disappeared and was replaced by an equally horrible metallic rattle.

Oh, and does anyone have a closeup of how the bushing clamps go back on? does the oval shaped hole go forward or aft? I'm not sure if they were put on right when I got the car.
