how about a AWR performance radiator?
how about a AWR performance radiator?
Nothing wrong with the radiators available from AWR (which are actually Ron Davis Radiators), just a little pricey...trying to bring into the market a more cost effective performance radiator...
As it looks like you will be going with the MSP height and sedan/P5 width, custom mounting brackets will be required. Not a big deal I know, but it will save everyone who buys one of these radiators the hassle of having to make their own brackets. It will be a relatively small cost addition to have a batch of brackets made up with the radiators.
Keep up the good work. (cool)
^^^ good idea. maybe we can get a GI/GB for the brackets that will be needed?
I am excited for this, my MSP has a hard time staying cool on track due to my FMIC blocking the entire air dam that was to the radiator. hopefully upgrading the radiator will fix this, if not an upgraded radiator AND some custom shrouding will have to do. (wondering if any other FMIC users have this issue, although I am not aware of any MSPers that have a FMIC and track :/)

Well, Im kinda hoping that DocB Racing will include them with the radiators. Seems a bit counter-intuitive that we have to go out after they are made and then wait for brackets to be made. It just makes sense to me that as they will be involved with designing the radiator that it should come with the brackets so we can mount them straight up (rockon)
You can see the size of the intercooler we use on our "track car" in the pic below. With an upgraded aluminum radiator we have not had cooling problems.
i really need one of these..... did a 2 day NASA track event this weekend, and couldn't get through either day without cooling issues :[
