So, I finally took the plunge and decided on purchasing a set of Megan Racing Coilovers from my friends at sonicmotor.com. I decided that the spring strut setup, though it may be a bit more conservative, was not worth it for me. I wanted the high adjustment as well as the strut adjustment. I went with Megan for their more affordable price and after seeing them in person, the build quality is seems quite nice too. Here are a couple pics (I have yet to install them, but I will be doing a write-up). I weighed the coilovers, here are the specs:
Each Front Shock Assembly: 11.2 lbs
Each Rear Shock Assembly: 9.6 lbs
Each Camber Arm: 4.6 lbs
I don't have time to install these on my car just yet so I'll be sure to update. It seems hardly anyone is riding on these coilovers.. i can't wait to see if they're good and I hope this helps with those who might be interested. For now, here are some pics of the parts.
