Check your inlet clamp!

With all the reviews I have read on turbo inlets many people have complained about being able to pull the inlet off without loosening it so I decided to pull the TMIC cover off and check. Using a 10mm long socket and rachet I go in to check. BTW it is way easier to get to from the passenger side (on the MS3). IT WAS REALLY LOOSE! I couldn't believe it. So after this I am like well I might as well check the CX7. Pulled off the TMIC cover and reach back there (plenty of room on the driver's side) and it was just as loose, if not more loose. Gotta see how the car responds to this tomorrow morning.

Thank you Mazda!(notcool)

wow. thanks...this could explain why my car is so jerky when its in boost. I'll check first thing in the morning.

When I replaced my TIP with the CP-e Nviscid, the stock piece was surprisingly snug and tight on the turbo. I drive like a granny most of the time so less boost could be the cause. However, the previous owner had it for 9K...who knows if he drove like a clown or not.

quit being so stereotypical man...
