Hey guys. I know the fabled tire matches are way overdone, but I trust peoples opinions on this website more than the ratings on tirerack or other such sites. Both these tires fit into my price range with the Kumho's being 135 per tire and the Pirellis at 122 per tire. These prices are from Tirerack and are for 235/40/18. Just wanted peoples opinions of both tires if they have any experience with them. What gets me is, the Kumho's are rated "extreme" and the Pirellis are "max", yet, on tirerack the ratings for the Pirellis are higher in all conditions, wet/dry/comfort. The price difference isn't huge, so I'm basically just hoping you guys will sway me to one or the other.

Also, one more thing. I'd really like anyones thoughts on which wheels to get. Again, both are very affordable, the Kazeras are 120 and the ASA's are 160.

I am currently using the MX's. I tend to like Kumho's in general for price/performance. The MX's are great, little noisey, very good in dry, good in wet.

Never had the Nero's
