2002 Protege LX
Hey guys, I recently purchased an '02 Protege LX and need some help removing a blemish that runs along the windshield. It looks as if someone ran their wipers a little too long and the metal part burred the glass. It is only about 1/4 inch wide and runs along the whole windshield. I can barely feel it with my finger nails and is more of a cosmetic bothersome. I've read of several ways to remove it including #0000 steel wool and using cerium oxide. I haven't tried anything yet but would like to see some opinions on here first before I go to a shop and get it looked at. I've attached some pictures to show you. The last one is from the inside. Thanks in advance! Any help is greatly appreciated.
