If you think you've got it bad in tight spaces.. there's always someone more fuc*ed than you are.

Case in point..

2001 Audi S4, V6 TT;
I was thinking of changing the motor mounts with the upgraded ones I bought, but it looks like that's more of a complete engine pull type job, so I'll save it for later when I upgrade turbochargers.. which, yup.. also requires a complete powertrain pull, and so does changing the clutch.
I can't vent in my S4 forums because everyone's got it just as bad as I do.
enjoy [/end venting/rant].

The front was off today to change the front snub mount and drain the coolant, along with some silicone Throttle body boot and F-hose upgrades, PITA.

Thankfully, all the cars i can afford are pretty easy to work on. I will never buy a bimmer (just for you Mikey!), nor an audi, or anything of the sort. My Mazda and older chevy's are all I need, plus they are nice and maintinence friendly.

my buddy is a vw/audi tech and hates to work on them when they come in haha dumbass just bought a audi a8 haha he will never get away from them

yeah, but they're not so bad once you get past the part where the front frame needs to be removed for everything, which includes draining the $35/gallon coolant.(drunk).

the engine is moved forward as far as possible to make lots of interior room, but that leaves about 1.5inches between the radiator and the engine, as well as making them nose heavy cars.

I tried to bleed the clutch today, and ended up snapping of the tip of the bleeder valve trying to get the dust cap off since it was weak from heatsoak ( the whole assembly is plastic, even the valve) and decided to stop there. Guess that's one more "engine pull" job.
