Anyone cut stock springs?

First of all, I have done it numerous times and it worked perfectly. Secondly, you guys are missing the point. It isn't a money problem. My back is already lower. If I buy lower springs, it will be still be lower in the back. Are there any coil overs that aren't so stiff? Also don't forget, I don't want it too low.

I've never been in a car with cut springs that was ever near perfect. Low riding fo sho.

Get BC or K-sport coilovers. They have adjustable stiffness along with height.

**** it its your car if you want to do it then do it, just make sure you post your fail

Just for the record, here are a few of my cars that I cut the springs. The wagon I lowered 1" front and 1.5" back on purpose(have to carry stuff in the back a lot). The Civic 1". The CRV 3". I have more if needed.

Eibach Prokit chopped 1.5 coils

It was 4yrs ago just before ordering full coilovers...and I could catch air going down the freeway if I hit a bump!
