It's funny how things turn out different than you would expect. This past friday I decided to finally bite the bullet and purchase the new ms3 I'd been eying for over a month. Hours of negotiation failed to produce a reasonable deal ($250 off msrp is not the best that can be done when you haven't sold one in 6 weeks). I decided to make a fresh start at the other Speed dealer here in Vegas when I just happened to drive past a sharp looking ms6 sitting at another dealership. Since the ms6 is what I origionally wanted I figured it would be worth my time to stop. Long story short, I unloaded my problematic jetta 1.8t and am the proud owner of a beautiful 06 velocity red ms6 gt (spin).

Great job Myriad! I think you'll be happy you found the 6. I guess the AWD won't help you that much in Vegas... unless you take it off into the desert for some fun? Regardless, congrats, and welcome to the Speed6 club!

Thanks from the warm welcome and it's good to finally be in this car. I would have rode out the rest of the time on the jetta, but it was starting to come apart at the seams and has been out of warranty for almost 15k miles. Bailed a family member out of that mess and learned that no good deed goes unpunished (such as not informing me the car has been in two major accidents (shocked) ). 3 months cost me almost $7k in negative equity, but I managed to take my ms6 from the dealer for a song so it was almost a wash. Well, out to enjoy my new toy(cabpatch).
