Wiring for the Angel Eyes

So I just recieved the predator chromium angel eyes from umnitza but I have a quick question about wiring before I start taking apart my headlamps and stuff...

If I want to wire them to the parking lights, then should I take the wires from the ballasts (A) and t-splice them into the parking light wires indicated in the pictures, or do I have to connect them somewhere else?

Also, it says to shrink wrap the connection between the rings and the ballasts at (B) but does that involve the silicone gel? and how do I shrink wrap it? with a hairdrier??

Thanks for the help!!

Yes if you want them on with the parking lights then you'd tap off of the wiring from the parking lights. Alternately you could use a relay and make the parking light wire the signal wire and have the DDE's draw power directly from the battery.

Shrink wrap is purchased in different sized tubes. You slip it over the connection you're making, for instance two soldered together wires, and then you heat it up (hairdryer, heatgun, lighter, etc.). When heated it shrinks down and molds itself around the wire. For example here's where I soldered together wires for my LED puddle lamps in my mirrors and then covered it with shrink wrap. Each connection is covered and then I put another piece over the whole thing.

will do....probably by this weekend

I just have to get all this wiring figured out...I've never done any sort of electrical work before so I just want to make sure my bases are covered before I start

SHIIIIITTTTT.......Ok so I wired up my DDEs but apparently something wrong between testing them and taking everything apart, installing, and trying them out again, because my right side works perfectly, but my left side parking light wiring isn't working....I tested it by plugging it into the parking lights and they won't turn on, then I hooked up the DDEs to the wires and they didn't turn on, so I think I may have blown a fuse or something....does anybody know how to fix this????

I figured it out, put them on, and they....are.....awesome!!!

Totally worth every penny, every hour, and every frustration

I'll post pictures soon, it's really hard to take a good picture because they are so bright

I can't wait to see someone else's! I got the ones from eBay and would like to compare them to the UMNITZA ones...
