Where do you store your windshield washer fluid?

I used to keep my windshield washer fluid in a wide-base plastic container but a few months ago I found the rear right wheel well storage hole perfect to store the windshield washer fluid. The only problem is that the small cover doesn't fit anymore. I find the noname brand fit best in the available space because of the shape of the container.

Where do store your windshield washer fluid in your Mazda5?

The only time it’s a really good idea to have some handy in your car is driving during the winter through the snow belt. Wet roads + road salt does a number to the windshield, real quick, and getting caught with an empty washer fluid tank can become a treacherous experience (nervous).

That being said, you Californians don’t gotta deal with that slop… I suppose that is, unless you decide to head up into the mountains.

I have a milk crate full of fluids/jumper, etc that sits in the back. That bottle is interesting though-what brand is that? All the wiper fluid I see around here is in either a round container, or a milk-jug looking thing, I'd like to get one that stays out of the way. Would an anti-freeze bottle fit in there? That looks to be the shape of your container.

Several years ago as part of a "routine" service a dealer topped off my windshield washer fluid reservoir with either water or something very close to it. Needless to say it froze in the lines when the temp dropped below 25 degrees, which wasn't a whole lot of fun when the road salt started flying around.

As for me, I don't currently have a garage, shed, or carport, so the washer fluid takes up space on a high shelf in a basement utility room. I tend to buy extra washer fluid without thinking how much I currently have, though, which is three or four containers sit in my house at any given time.

snow? is that the white stuff that falls from the sky?

Yes, it is... and it's highly overrated. On the other hand, it does have it's perks. I mean, without winter road sludge, this would've never happened :D

snow is fun when you are driving SPECIFICALLY to go play in it. Otherwise, it's a nuisance.
