My back-up rims/end table = Sweetness!

Shavin lbs!
:
1979 Trans Am, 2003.5 MSP, 2003.5 MSP, 2004 Mazda6, 2011 Mazda2
Just something that I have done with my back up rims when not in use. Makes a cool conversation piece or just cool end table. Just my thoughts though. Been doing this for about 5 years now. Got the idea back when I went to Art School. I first did it with my TransAm rims, but these look way cooler. Just thought I'd put it out there for anyone else interested in doing so.
Here is what u need:

Rims-stock RacingHart 17x7 (off the car)
Glass-26"x1/4" (Pier One)
Red light-1" red bulb with small fixture under the top rims center cap

Tell me what u think,
Thanks, Later.

HAHA nice. I'm definitely gonna have to copy this in some form. I think I may do something like this in a coffee table.

End table typically goes next to a couch or recliner in a living room... fyi.
next to a bed you'd call the same thing a nightstand. lol

It is next to my couch in my living room area. The couch is old and from like the early 90's, but it was free. Can't be free. Glad to see ya like it though.

Just cleaned them this morning . First I washed them in sid and out, outside in the parking lot. Then I wash them again just for reassurance. Then I apply Mothers rim polish to the rims and give a generous coat of Eagle1 tire shine to the tires. Followed by a good rub down with a dry cloth the get all the extra shine off so it doesn't get on your clothes or anything else. Probably spend about 2-3 hours doing this. Then when it comes winter again (I hate that word) I do the same for the Enkei's that are on her right now.

haha not a bad plan all in all though. better for the tires than any garage storage.. and both sets get an extra thorough cleaning once a year.

My thoughts exactly. Gets rid of all the brake dust after a good season of driving.
