Subtle hotness

So I scrubbed the Mazdaspeed3 emblem off the back hatch, leaving this as the only real identifier as to what kind of 3 I drive. It's etched glass, not a sticker. Nice thing about it is if I roll the back windows down even a little bit then there are no identifying marks at all. The OEM rims will be replaced with powdercoated rx-8s soon as well.

If you look closely you might be able to see the light spot on my moulding where someone scuffed my car. I was thinking of taking them off, but they actually saved me a door ding so i think i'll leave em.

"Nice thing about it is if I roll the back windows down even a little bit then there are no identifying marks at all." ..... other than the Mazdaspeed-specific CB paint of course.

CB is easily and often mistaken for that grayish color on the reg three's especially at night or overcast. I've had a few friends call my Cosmic Titanium (wedge).

and the spoiler and front/rear bumper.... but the idea is that you have to be an enthusiast to know. I doubt that the average desk jockey says "hey, thats an ms3 because that paint is unique to them"

side note.... I like the etched look, never seen that before

There's a mazda dealer in Houston that will do this for you, I think it's Russel and Smith, but don't hold me to that.
