AWR Camber Plates & Tokicos -How to Make Them Work-

I told Action Jackson I'd share my "solution" to the problem. Its no different than how Dave@ Delsing made his camber plates.

The problem with the Tokicos is that they have a very short threaded portion at the end of the shaft where you fasten the nut to clamp down on the OEM strut mount. Luckily AWR's camber plates have a .560 ID spherical bearing so the M10 Tokico shaft fits through the bore but doesn't stick out the top enough to thread a nut onto it.

So like Dave's plates, you need to make a part that threads onto the Tokico shaft and fits into the spherical. See attachment 1. If you aren't using Ground-Controls, you may have to make a piece that mates the bottom of the camber plate to the OEM spring hat.

The top pieces are quickly made by turning down hex stock to the ID of the spherical and then drilling/tapping it to thread onto the Tokico shaft.

I don't have the AWR plates nor an OEM spring mount so I can't make these to check 100%, but I don't see any reason why what I've suggested won't work. Its up to you to make it fit.
