Fyi Corksport Dp + Awr Pan = No

Well after trying to wrap up the install of my MSP turbo setup, the CS Downpipe and AWR pan don't fit to well....

Its not that the J pipe doesn't clear, its just that the bottom O2 sensor hits the pan.

I ordered a new O2 bung and plug to plug the old hole up and weld up a new one so the car runs right.

thats for teh head up, so teh J pipe won't fit huh?

Hmm... my GHL downpipe fits fine but I'm not sure about the O2 sensors. I'll have to check on that.

Would it work if you had the O2 downstream a bit further, it sounds like your using the bung on the J pipe. I think it would work if you had the O2 on the cat pipe.

Yeah, the J pipe fits, but is close. The bung for the O2 is right there though and wont clear the pan. I am going to mount the bung on the bend at the J pipe with the non fouler trick.

I am really not too happy with the CS DP for fitment issues. I can barely tighten the bottom nut on the hot side housing of the turbo because the inner pipe has to be on top of the stud. This freaking thing better not have an exhaust leak....

Dont mind the crappy paint job on the AWR pan. For some reason when my friend welding the bung, he decided to paint the pan black..

I'm in the process of taking the paint off LOL

Issshhh. This is like the issue I had with my AWR HEADER VS. AWR OIL PAN... I think i'm gonna go GHL for the downpipe.

I'm 99% sure the GHL will work. The second O2 sensor is further back, closer to the mid-pipe. I had an extra bung welded in the j-pipe.

Is this O2 just for the wideband? My O2 is right in the manifold (of course) and the other one is by the cat and the third one is somewhere by the pan supposedly for a wideband.
I just changed it out because the stocker died. I got one off of www.o2sensor.com for 99 bucks with plug and free shipping. It even came with antiseize.
I have the GHL full exhaust and yes it is great


Perhaps you have one of those oh so lusted after tubular turbo manifolds. (boom05)

You'll see it should fit. The sensor isn't even on that pipe, which nearly extends past the oil pan as is.
