How do you have your XM/Sirius Sat Radio set-up???

Hey, post some pics of how you have your satellite radio system set-up.
I just got XM and I dont know where to put it, it's always in the way or too far away.
Any suggestions?

where to put sat.

I put mine on the headliner behind the map lights in between the visors I just dropped the headliner down reinforced it with fibreglass and mounted it up with an aluminium plate with rivnuts riveted to it on the backside and screwed the mounting braket upto the headliner works like a charm but hate the fm transmitter, been looking into wiring my own aux. input. George

I have the Sirius Sportster in mine. Had the stock headunit with the AuxMod basic in it. The FM transmitter route sucked. Auxmod was way better. I just added my new Pioneer headunit last night that has a rear Aux input. My tuner is located in the center of the dash but I have been debating on moving it back to the left.

I have my Sirius mounted similar to 02-ZOOM. It's an OK location. I have the Sirius S50 which is also a portable device when undocked. I would perfer to have it more hidden, but I don't think I can do that with the S50 unit. I also don't like the fact that the power plug makes the right side cup holder even more useless than it normally is.

I cut the AC plug on mine and tapped it directly into the cigarette lighter wires in the back. Didn't want to have the damn plug in all the time......

Its a bad picture but you get the idea where mine is. these pictures were taken to show the sunvisors one of our club sponsored dealerships were giving to us at the next club meeting.

The other pictures show where my antenna is located.

Anyway, Mine is plugged into a sig lighter and transmitted through FM.
Its mounted between the knobs of the stock stereo.

Antenna is run through the headliner and out the hatch behind the radio antenna.

When my double din dvd player gets here next week I need to find a new place for my XM.
