Bump for some information that it would be great if was more known and clear for everyone since more and more people are getting custom valves made.

What are the valve specs for our vehicle... the following measurements:
Overall Length
Tip Length
Head Diameter
Seat width/angle (stock)
Groove Type
Stem Diameter
Margin Width

This would be needed for BOTH the exhaust and intake as they are different.
If I find the specs before they get posted I will pop them up as well.

some more info (added in the 1st post too):

Intake Valve Diameter: 33mm
Exhaust Valve Diameter: 27.5

Direction of engine rotation: Clockwise

Intake PORT Dimensions: Height - 31mm, Width - 49.5mm

clockwise as viewed from the timing belt end I assume correct?

bit of an old thread, but does anyone know if the big end width of 0.860" is the width of the rod or the space in the crank? ie if the space in the crank then it includes clearance, if it is the rod then the crank space is slightly bigger than 0.860".

90% sure is the rod.

i need to be 100% sure on this as i have to machine down a rod to suit (aka not rods for the FS)

Honda rods are close, and some Ford rods.
I have one FS rod with a piston, rod is slightly bent, came from my last blown engine. It hurts to send the piston with it...

building 2 engines at the moment. mine uses a toyota rod, the other uses a nissan rod.

did you have any chance to vernier the rod?

Yeah, found 2 rods, one straight one slightly bent. I can also send you the endcap only if you are going to measure BE width only, if not, then the rod and the piston together.

let me know. Will take pics as soon as I get home.
