Vanity plates, are they worth it?

may go simple....since NO ONE knows what kind of car we drive.

even though my plate was $200 initially, it's the regular renewal fee ($70/year in Alberta), i wouldn't be without it. in fact, when i likely move next year, i'm really hoping that it isn't taken already so i can get it again. i dunno, just suits me and the car - i can't imagine having some generic plate, i've had mine so long.

i really like mine....i think its sorta funny and i like how everyone gets it. i get a lot of comments from young and a lot of older people actually who always tell me its cute. in texas its an extra $40 per year for the plate..

We have vanity plates on our Mazda's. In Ohio there is a yearly fee of $35.
